I had the most mind-blowing experience at this beachfront paradise! The beach access was incredible, with a crystal clear lagoon just steps away. The outdoor shower was a super cool feature, and the kitchen facilities had everything we needed. The fan and mosquito net kept us comfortable, and having filtered water was a great perk. The free paddle board hire and comfortable lounge chairs made our beach days even more enjoyable. And being able to hire a scooter onsite was so convenient. Communication with the hosts was fantastic, and the snorkeling trip organized by the host's father was absolutely jaw-dropping. I highly recommend this place for adventurous souls and camping lovers. The location is unbeatable, with stunning snorkeling and a beautiful and safe beach walk. The rustic vibes of the treehouse were exactly what we were hoping for, and the sense of community among the guests was so special. We even had a happy hour together after our snorkel trip. The small number of huts made for a more intimate and relaxing experience compared to the busy nearby resorts. staying here was a super fun and amazing experience that surpassed our expectations.

Loved waking up to the sound of the waves and stunning sunsets from our balcony. Great snorkelling spot with giant clams right in front. Friendly, helpful owners and clean facilities. Free bikes and snorkel gear available. Excellent food at the neighboring Tamanu resort.
Felt totally at home, no complaints whatsoever.

During my stay at Matriki Beach Huts, I was pleased with two notable features. the room with ensuite shower and toilet provided a convenient and private bathing experience. It was refreshing to have these facilities within the confines of my own room, ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free stay. the hosts at Matriki Beach Huts were generally accommodating and attentive to our needs, making our stay a pleasant one.
There was one minor downside that slightly detracted from the overall experience. Considering the price paid for our stay, I would have expected the staff at Matriki Beach Huts to handle this task for us.

The location of our beach hut was perfect - right on the beach with a stunning lagoon just steps away. We loved waking up to the sound of the waves and being able to go for a swim whenever we wanted. Another great feature was the community feel of the place. We had a wonderful time chatting with other guests and even had a happy hour together. the small number of huts made it feel cozy and intimate, unlike the busy resorts nearby. Plus, the snorkel boat trip was an absolute highlight of our stay. Such a fantastic day exploring the lagoon!
One thing we would suggest is bringing a small flashlight for walking around at night on the island. It can get a bit dark and having some extra light would be helpful.
